WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
She did great!!! The weather here was pretty stinky though. She had to run through rain and snow in 30 degree weather, but she toughed it out. You can tell she's my wife :)
I'll let her fill you in on how it went, but I can't tell you how happy and proud I am. My wife rocks!!!!!

Congratulations!
Is this the same woman who thought I was crazy when I was really into running some 25 years ago, before it was fashionable?
Congrtaulations, you made your dear old Dad very proud!
Love you, Dad
Thanks, everyone! :-)
I finished in 2:20:53, which is a 10:45 mile, (normally I run a 10:00mile or just under) but I'm still pleased with the pace because the weather and course were less than optimal.
The rail trail was muddy, snowy or icy depending on the area, but I must give kudos to the MCPARC folks for plowing the trail for the race. It drizzled for most of the race so I was pretty soaked by the finish. I ran the entire time, except for the water stops because I'm not coordinated enough yet to run and drink from a cup. ;-) And unfortunately, I couldn't sprint at the end because the last bridge iced over from the rain.
The best part, though, were the "prize" knit cap and gloves and the all-you-can-eat chili that went a long way to warm me up at the end. I'm looking forward to my next half marathon in Virginia Beach this March! :-)
Sweet! Congratulations. I see you have some serious races coming up too!
